Roger Good brings over 35 years of valuable experience to the table of businesses in need of operational expertise. His 33-year tenure at Storage Technology Corp. (acquired by Sun Microsystems, Inc.), spanned many positions in Customer Service and Service Management and resulted in improved processes and customer satisfaction throughout several StorageTek (STK) business units.
As a manager in STK’s Service Planning, Mr. Good was charged with the development of ten-year strategic plans and establishing the design for serviceability and remote support processes for both hardware and software products. He later moved to Engineering, where he was responsible for software engineering and the management of a team of approximately 150 engineers worldwide.
Mr. Good then served for two years as the Corporate Customer Satisfaction Executive, managing the product introduction process with specific emphasis on customer satisfaction, service, and product roadmaps. His final role at StorageTek was General Manager of STK’s Service business in Asia Pacific and Latin American markets, leading a team of approximately 400 service professionals. His primary responsibilities in this position were profitability and revenue growth of the service business and overall customer satisfaction improvement.
In 2005, Mr. Good applied his breadth and depth of corporate and engineering expertise to the small business arena, developing a specialized imaging and printing product for the medical field. He holds a number of patents in various stages of approval, and his invention is scheduled for manufacturing and production in 2008.
Roger Good holds an MBA from Colorado State University, where he has also served as a member on the Board of Directors for the CSU Business College. In addition to his own business responsibilities over the past three years, he has contributed to his community as an active SCORE Counselor and leading member of the Routt County Economic Development Cooperative.
