Kemp Bohlen

Kemp Bohlen provides a wealth of process re-engineering and finance expertise to Good & Bohlen Consulting, llc. His 25-year tenure at the Hewlett Packard Company (HP) spanned many roles ranging from sales administration to process re-engineering. He served as the Regional Business Manager for the West Coast Sales Division where he led all administrative accounting systems/processes for sales and service throughout this 12-state region.

Mr. Bohlen then moved on to become Controller of the Americas Field Operations, where he was responsible for the finance and administration for the sales and service activities of North and South America. In this role he managed the contractual negotiations and relationships with HP’s major service clients and third-party resellers and retailers. His organization was also responsible for all revenue and cost accounting for the sales and service operations throughout these regions.

The last position Mr. Bohlen held at HP was Director of Worldwide Financial Services, where his organization of 1,400 people was responsible for consolidating and processing all of HP’s accounting activities into eight centers worldwide. This team included a 150-person Information Technology group responsible for the selection and implementation of the SAP system which processed HP’s entire financial data.

Mr. Bohlen then leveraged his corporate experience in the realm of management consulting and teaching. As a consultant, he coached small businesses in process re-engineering, systems analysis/integration, and organizational design. In 2004 he served as the Interim Dean of Instruction and Adjunct Professor of Business Administration at the Alpine Campus of Colorado Mountain College in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, overseeing 130 faculty members and over 200 courses in ten core instructional programs.

Kemp Bohlen holds an MBA from California Lutheran University. In addition to his college responsibilities during the past three years, Mr. Bohlen has served as an active SCORE Counselor and member of the Steamboat Rotary.
